I hope everyone had a fab turkey day! I think the baby enjoyed having company and seeing her cousins. I didn't eat as much as I normally would due to caring for baby. I'm not at my pre pregnancy weight yet. But I hope to start eating better after the New Year. I was able to lose 15-20lbs last January and if I can do that again this year, life will be much better!
The other day I found out how great my cookware really is. I was boiling down some chicken to make stock, between laundry, feeding baby and trying to get my house in order I forgot that I left the chicken boiling on the stove. We went to bed, and at around 2am I smelled something burning and Mr. Cheese went to go check it out. As soon as I heard him turn the dial on the stove, I remembered what I had forgotten about earlier. He said there was a cloud of smoke and that our stock pot was probably baked and useless. I felt horrible, and scatterbrained, and plain stupid for this. It took me a while but I eventually went in the kitchen to check it out - to my surprise the stove looked just fine, and the pot salvagable. I washed it out, only took 5 minutes! It looked just like it had prior to the incident. The house smelled of smoke and we opened all the windows, boiled vinegar for 24 hours, lit candles and Febreez'ed the curtains. Things were back to normal!
So, I highly recomended Analon cookware. I received a set of their pots as a wedding gift and I'm thankful to have such great stuff. I have made this mistake with a teapot in the past and the teapot was toast.
I feel like I have lost some serious braincells. Sometimes I feel like the most ridicuolus person in the world. I'm clumsy too, still run into doors, walls.
I'm ready to feel somewhat normal again.

Analon is one of the top-notch.
Don't worry about the mishap, I have had some serious moments...LOL!
Looking back - this was a case of "The Hypothyroid Brain". So sad that it wasn't diagnosed at this time.
